Nefelibata Fail

So I had spray painted my durastic custom jumping stablemate Nefelibata. I really need to learn how to make brown acrylics not streaky. Although, the spraypaint does well with fleabitten grays and possibly strawberry or red roans. Well, anyway, have you ever heard of Brigitte Eberl Cobra resins? I am a HUGE fan of her resins! (not my photo)
Especially the dappled gray detailing.

Updates and more!

Yeah, as you can already see I'm updating my page. I'm still trying to figure this out. Anyway, Erbium is going to be a bay now and I am finally starting on Nefilibata! It is really late, and too dark to take photos, so I'll put some on tomorrow.
Tack of the day:
Secretariat's halter and American Pharaoh's bridle

But wait! Who's that? Why is that Nothin But Treble? What's he doing up there? On the door?
 Being creepy?
Well, I am signing off for the night, have a great day!

4H project number two!

Here's my horse Erbium that I sculpted with crayola clay, that's right, the worst clay in the history of clays. He has been black, bay, and now I am redoing him to a flea bitten gray.

I wanted dappled gray, but "pastelling" with charcoal is not meant to make dapples with. If any other people want to sculpt a long lasting horse, use the good scultping clay. Normal white crayola clay is the best one if you don't have a store near you that sells good clay. NEVER USE CRAYOLA TERRACOTTA! IT CRACKS AND THE PAINT PEELS OFF! The paint over time will, yes, peel off of white crayola clay, but it is very subtle.
Now remember: NEVER USE TERRACOTTA!!!

Ahhhh... Snowstorms.

Well, here in Grundy County Illinois, all the "fun" happens here.

Right now there's a sheet of white raining down. It is already a foot of snow!
Anyway, this is my sketch Tungsten.
And while it was snowing, I made a halter,
 Took a photo of Snowman,
 Fixed the leg of Speedy,
 And cleaned!!
And almost forgot about Bonanza, my (unofficial) NaMoPaMo horse!
Hope y'all have a great day!

How to: Tied Lead Rope

Y'know, like the ones at the store when the leads are all tied?
First, you take a lead rope.
String the end of the lead rope through the jump ring.
Tighten it to an appropriate length.
Repeat step 2 so that there are 2 ropes in the ring.
Twist the end of the rope around the loop.
Keep twisting and when done, take the loose end and tie it off with the remaining loop.
